Korea’s biggest game exhibition ‘Global Game Exhibition G-STAR 2015,’ which hosted 633 companies (through 2,636 booths) in the game industry from 35 countries, attracted 209,617 visitors (an increase of 3.7% compared to last year), the highest in the exhibition’s history, again breaking the record.
G-STAR 2015, hosted by Korea Internet & Digital Entertainment Association (referred to as “K-iDEA” below) and co-run by G-STAR Organization Committee and Busan IT Industry Promotion Agency, opened on November 12th 2015 and was held across Busan in all halls of BEXCO and Busan Cinema Center all the way through the 15th for a total of four days.
Celebrating its 11th anniversary this year, the event offered game exhibitions and various spectacles in the total area of 55,300㎡. Through many additional events, experience programs and events, G-STAR 2015 received fervent responses from the game users during the whole event.
Business area was held in the entire area of Exhibition Center 2 in BEXCO, Busan and the trade visitors creating the sales increased by 7.5% compared to 1,781 individuals the previous year. Korean and international trade visitors who visited the event complimented the G-STAR Business area as the best game business place in Asia.
